I had another very rude person call me on the phone again today. We have numerous websites, and the websites have pages for many many condo complexes and adult communities. Adult communities I don’t have too much trouble with, but the people who call from the condo sites are, for the most part, extremely rude. I constantly get calls from people thinking that I am the association. Why? Because I come up at the top of the list when they type in, for example, Knob Hill. I’m almost always the first one in the Google rankings on the search page. So they don’t even bother looking, they just see the phone number and call and assume that I’m the association.
So this young lady had a question for the Association. I replied that I am a Realtor, and if you wish to buy or sell a home in there I can help you. She says she needs to ask the Association a question. Again, I said very politely that I’m a Realtor I do not work for the association and somewhere in the middle of that sentence she just hung up on me.
No “thank you: no “sorry to have bothered you: no “do you have know the phone number of the right person”. All she did was just hang up the phone.
Extremely rude. I didn’t raise my children to be that way. And I don’t understand how someone can be that rude.
