Are you wondering how many days, on average it takes to sell a house? Well – all markets are different, and you can break a market down to states, counties, towns – even developments in any particular town. But, according to a recent survey I just read, the national average amount of Days On Market is only 27 days!
Looking at individual states, 25 stated reported an average of 30 days or less. What was the average for New Jersey? Between 45-60 days. But it could be worse – there were 6 states reporting between 60 and 90 days.
And here’s something else. First time buyers comprised 33% of all buyers.
