I cannot believe it. It happened again today. What I can’t believe is how people can be so darn rude.
I received a call today from some lady who wanted to know something about Knob Hill in Manalapan. I politely said I am a Realtor if you would like to buy or sell a property I can help you, but I do not work for them.
And she said I wanted to find out something from the Association. I once again said I am a Realtor, I do not work for them I cannot help you on that. In mid- sentence she just hung up. I hope she broke her phone smashing her thumb down on the “End Call” button.
Now I wasn’t raised that way. If I was making that phone call I would say something along the lines of “well sorry to bother you but thank you. Goodbye”. No – like always happens in situations like this they just hung up in the middle of me saying a sentence to them. This happens a lot.
What is wrong with this younger generation? They have no sense of being polite or courteous. They call me and if I don’t have the answers for them because it’s not my job to have those answers, they just hang up on me while I’m explaining that I’m not who they thought they were calling. And those are the better ones. I’ve had people swear at me because they didn’t call who they wanted.
Well I didn’t raise my children to be like that. I don’t understand where these kids are coming from.
