That’s right, the median home price in this country has risen again to the point where it is now over $200,000.
The median price of a home is the point where half of all homes sold, sell for more than that number, and half of all homes sell for less. It is not the average.
Over the past 12 months a 7.4% annual gain raised the median price of a home in this country to $200,400. And bidding wars are becoming very common.
So if you are still renting a home, you should do something about that. Go buy a home because prices seem to be going Only One Direction and that’s up.
And if you own your own home already, good for you. Your home is now worth more than it is ever been worth before.
