I’m building a garage for my lawn mower. I’ll be using just painted plywood on the siding, but I need something on a roof. So I went down to my local Home Improvement store to research possible roofing materials. In addition to the standard roofing shingles I found something else that looks interesting. First let’s talk about something that I decided not to go for. It’s a man-made material some kind of a plastic, I don’t know exactly what. It’s wavy and what happens is you cut it into two foot strips fashioned together and look is very, very close to resembling a tile roof similar to what you see down in Florida and Arizona all the time. This particular material comes with a lifetime guarantee. This is a little too much on a plain old shed for a lawnmower. But they had a much less expensive plastic material semi-transparent to let light shine through. This type of material in many places. And this is a pretty good idea.
