You can also go to Lakewood to catch local and express bus service to points north on the Route 9 corridor.

Easy access to major roadways make it easy for you to get to, well, anywhere. Hop on the Garden State Parkway at one of the exits in Brick to go to Atlantic City or New York. Or if you prefer, New Jersey Transit provides train service to New York from the Bay Head station.

Recreation, Shopping and Dining

Boating is great on the Metedeconk River. And if you like boating, nearby there are many marinas where you can dock your new (or old) boat close to home. If you prefer, enjoy the many parks in Ocean County or go for a walk on the boardwalk or the beach in Point Pleasant.

If you like music, free concerts are provided at Windward Beach during the summer. Just bring a lawn chair and enjoy top local bands. Or you can visit the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank for musicals, plays and more. Another great place for a fun night out is Uncle Vinny’s Comedy Club in Point Pleasant. 

Abundant shopping is available on Route 70 and Hooper Ave, most anything you need is there. Also, there are two major malls within a 30 minute drive in Toms River and Eatontown. You have an abundance of choices for dining also. While most major chains are in the area, there are also some fantastic seafood restaurants nearby in Point Pleasant.

Nearby, on Jack Martin Blvd in Brick, is Ocean Medical Center. Furthermore numerous medical practices and other medical facilities.,
