Pheasant Run Barnegat is a 55 + Active Adult community in Barnegat Township, Ocean County, NJ. Because it’s located near the Garden State Parkway, it’s convenient to shopping, grocery stores and more. This well-maintained community is nearby to many activities such as golf, fishing and boating. In addition, Long Beach Island and Atlantic City are also nearby. Furthermore, it’s located near Barnegat Bay, shopping, and, of course, the Jersey Shore.
Since the association is responsible for lawn maintenance and snow removal, you’re not. Consequently, there’s an HOA fee. Additionally, one pet per home is allowed. In what’s becoming normal these days, there is a one-time association fee to be paid by the buyer at closing.

Between 1987 and 1989, almost 400 single family homes homes were built in Pheasant Run Barnegat. These homes have 2 bedrooms, with either 1, 2 or 2.5 baths and a 1 car garage, Most models are ranches but some have a second floor with the second bedroom and a loft.

The clubhouse has a multi purpose room tennis courts, and offers activities and trips. When it gets warm, there’s an outdoor pool. Plus, local activities such as fishing, boating, golf, shopping, dining and more are nearby.
Transportation
The Ocean County transit system, provides bus transportation throughout Ocean County. The Reserve-A-Ride Program provides door-to-door, non-emergency medical transportation service to seniors (age 60 and over). Advance reservations are necessary, however, they will charge you. In addition, Ocean Ride has 12 local bus routes to shopping, other adult communities and more. This is a free program, but many of the riders tip the driver.
