If you love golf, living in a community which has it’s own golf course is fantastic. It is great to simply walk to the clubhouse and go out with your friends for a round – or two. And generally, it will cost a lot less than going to a county owned or a private course.

One of the nice things about these courses is that they are rarely crowded. The reason for this is that the courses, usually, are limited to residents and their guests. It is not a public course. People cannot just come in to play. THis makes it nicer for the residents.

A negative is that in the smaller, lower priced communities, the golf course is typically an executive course. This means the holes are typically par three. In the more upscale golf communities however, you’ll find championship courses. These are found in Westlake, Greenbriar Oceanaire, Four Seasons Harbor Bay, Four Seasons Sea Oaks and Renaissance in Manchester. Buy a home and enjoy the golf course.
