Here are a few do-it-yourself (DIY) projects that you can do with your partner.

Of course we realize that you want to get new furniture to give your home a new look. But that can be expensive .Save the money for something special and refurbish your furniture instead. First decide which pieces of furniture you want to makeover, or you can go and search yard sales for some cheap furniture to update. Decide together what you want to do, you can paint the furniture whatever color you want, or were you can strip existing paint off and stain it to whatever wood color that you want. You can do the same for a wooden coffee table.

If you would like to do some work outdoors possibly a retaining wall and / or a patio. And when you’re done, cook a special dinner and eat outdoors on your new patio.

Possibly you might want to change an un-used space in your home into a movie studio. You’ll want to paint the walls off white or gray. And remove all decorations. Get some kind of a movie projector to project onto the screen and grab some pillows and blankets to go on the couch to cuddle up with for movie nights.

Here’s a more practical one and one that I particularly find very fulfilling. How about a backyard vegetable garden?. You can grow your own produce. As you both tend the garden and appreciate the vegetables you will grow closer.
