About Silver Ridge Park East
Silveridge Park East is a quiet and peaceful active adult community in Berkeley Township. In fact, it’s part of what people refer to as “Holiday City”, which has around 16,000 homes. This is one of nine different adult communities in the “Holiday City” area. It’s a few miles west of the Garden State Parkway exit 82. Additionally it’s south of Route 70.
Since there’s a homeowners association, there’s also a monthly association fee which provides common area maintenance and the clubhouse. However, you’ll need to cut your own grass and shovel your driveway. But this is why the monthly association fee is so low. And, when you combine the low HOA fees with low taxes, you’ll see why this is a popular destination for seniors.

Beginning around 1970, construction started in Silveridge Park East. Actually, the homes for sale are typically 2 bedrooms, with either 1 or 2 baths. Most have a 1 car garage, but a few homes have a 2 car garage. Furthermore, most homes have hot water baseboard heat. Since these detached homes are all on a single level, you can “Live Flat”.
The Silveridge Park East Clubhouse
If you’re looking for a social life, the clubhouse is the place to go. Clubs, activities and trips can be found. However, there isn’t a pool in this community. You can enjoy local activities such as fishing, boating, golf, dining and much much more. While Silveridge Park East doesn’t have a golf course, many courses are available in Ocean County.
Transportation
Ocean County’s transit system, Ocean Ride, provides bus transportation throughout Ocean County. The Reserve-A-Ride Program provides round trip non-emergency medical transportation service to seniors (age 60 and over). Also, advance reservations are necessary. however a fee will be charged. In addition, Ocean Ride has 12 local bus routes to key destinations.
