Since Wedgewood Place has a homeowners association, a monthly association fee is levied. However, because the association is responsible for snow removal and lawn maintenance, it’s not your problem. Additionally, you’re allowed use of the common areas and clubhouse.

Transportation
Nearby you’ll find a bus station in Lakewood which provides transportation on the Route 9 corridor. In addition, New Jersey Transit has a train station 15 minutes away in Point Pleasant. It’s easy to get around because the Garden State Parkway and Routes 195 and 70 are also close.
The Ocean County transit system, Ocean Ride, provides bus transportation throughout Ocean County. Ocean Ride has 12 local bus routes to shopping, other adult communities and more.
Medical Services
Nearby in Brick, you’ll find the Hackensack Meridian Health Medical Center, You’ll also find numerous medical practices in the area. Also in this complex is Shore Rehabilitation.
Ocean County also has another transport service for seniors. The Reserve-A-Ride Program provides door-to-door, non-emergency medical transportation service to seniors (age 60 and over). There is a fee involved, also, advance reservations are necessary.
